How to Get X Premium
Subscribing to X Premium is straightforward:
- Navigate to the X website or open the X app.
- Access your account settings or profile menu.
- Select the ‘X Premium’ or ‘Subscription’ option.
- Choose your preferred tier—Basic, Premium, or Premium+—based on desired features and budget.
- Follow the prompts to complete the payment process.
- Upon successful subscription, the X Premium features become available to your account.
Exploring the Core Features of X Premium
X Premium offers a range of features aimed at enhancing user engagement and content creation. Here’s an overview of some key features:
- Edit Post: Allows editing tweets within an hour of posting. While useful for correcting errors, I found it somewhat buggy and didn’t utilize it frequently.
- Longer Posts: Expands the character limit up to 25,000, enabling more in-depth content. This feature was beneficial for detailed discussions.
- Longer Videos: Permits uploading videos up to 2 hours long. I didn’t use this feature, but it’s advantageous for content creators sharing extensive video content.
- Prioritized Rankings: Enhances visibility in replies and search results. I observed a slight increase in engagement, though it’s challenging to attribute solely to this feature.
- Blue Checkmark: Indicates a verified account. While it adds credibility, its value has diminished since verification became purchasable.
- Text Formatting: Offers bold and italic text options. I didn’t find this feature particularly useful for my content.
- NFT Profile Pictures: Allows setting NFTs as profile pictures. I didn’t utilize this feature, but it caters to users interested in showcasing digital assets.
My X Premium Experience
During my 90-day trial of X Premium, I posted 94 tweets, focusing on quality over quantity. Despite a reduced posting frequency, my engagement remained strong:
- Impressions: Approximately 243,200
- Engagement Rate: 3.6%
- Likes: 2,100
- Replies: 287
- Retweets: 326
- Link Clicks: 556
These metrics suggest that X Premium may enhance the reach and engagement of content, even with less frequent posting.
Is X Premium Worth It?
X Premium offers several features that can benefit content creators and businesses aiming to increase their presence on the platform. While some features, like longer posts and videos, provide clear advantages, others may be less impactful depending on individual needs. For users seeking enhanced engagement and additional tools, X Premium could be a valuable investment.
